In addition to this journalistic approach, which captures the spontaneity and feel of the day, I am also frequently asked to take more formal portraits, as a lot of couples like to have pictures taken with friends and family.

Black and white photos can be wonderful, as a compliment to color images, and with today's digital image manipulation, you have the ability to decide "after the fact", which shots you would like in color, and which in black and white.

As for the negatives, I only keep these long enough for you to decide if you want any custom prints/enlargements made.

For my photography, I charge $100 per hour, and $45 per roll of 36-exposure film. This includes developing and a double set of 4x6 prints. I usually find I shoot around 2 rolls per hour.

If you need images digitally retouched, I charge $60 per hour. In addition to prints on glossy or matte photographic paper, you also have the option of having prints made on archival water-color paper. My website is under construction, so for now you can contact me via e-mail at
