The Greenwood Pier Presents: Annierose
Annierose Wise is a versatile singer-songwriter and acoustic guitar playing entertainer. Born in Montana and raised in New Orleans, her style is an eclectic folky-cowboy-jazz. Annierose has performed throughout Europe and the American West; singing and playing, writing songs, and painting her experiences as she goes. She is a visual artist too, which complements the evocative lyrical imagery in her songs. Annie's ability to 'own a song' along with her haunting voice, touches that feeling in all of us which allows the coupling of joy and sadness. Her musical portfolio spans a wide range of venues, cover a wide range, includingfrom her early days of playing the streets in Austin, Texas and the New Orleans French quarter, to state fairs, festivals, schools, governor's mansions, concerts, restaurants, saloons, coffeehouses, nightclubs, and Parisian bistros. During her career, Annierose has released five albums including her latest CD, "Kate & Me at the Turn of the Century," a tribute to singer-songwriter Kate Wolf, which has received rave reviews. Between engagements, Annie's passion is working with and singing to her beloved Tigers at the Barry Kirshner Wildlife Foundation in Durham, California.
Annierose is currently in preproduction of a new CD called "Tyger Tracks"
