*Recycle Sale* Gualala Arts will have a "Recycle Your Art and Second- Hand Sale" on Saturday, Oct. 27 from 9 to 11am. Call the office, 707-884-1138 for pickup of large items. Donate quality items, and please, no electronics, magazines, books, clothing or large appliances. The Gualala Arts Center, located at 46501 Gualala Road is open 9am to 4pm weekdays and noon to 4pm weekends.

Jazz Quartet at Gualala Arts Center

*A Tribute to the Modern Jazz Quartet* Gualala Arts Jazz Series in association with Fred Adler KTDE (100.5 FM) will presents a Tribute to the Modern Jazz Quartet on Saturday, Oct. 20 at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $30 advance and $35 the day of show. The tribute features Larry Vuckovich, piano, and Noel Jewkes, reeds, (co-leaders), Tommy Kesecker and Herb Gibson, vibes, Josh Workman, guitar; Eric Golub, violin, Buca Necak, bass, and Akira Tana, drums.

Abundance Festival October 20

CELL is once again celebrating our community's agricultural bounty with a Local Abundance Festival on Oct. 20 at the Caspar Community Center. Celebrate our county's agricultural bounty with a day of workshops, food and music. The afternoon will feature workshops on how to grow, prepare and preserve foods and will be followed by a locally grown gourmet dinner and dance. Local wine, beer and freshly made apple juice will also be available. Celebrate local food, farmers and friends! Habitat for Humanity Mexican Dinner

The Annual Habitat for Humanity Mexican Dinner will take place this Saturday, October 6th from 4 to 8 pm Portugese Hall, 822 Stewart Street, Fort Bragg. All You Can Eat! Authentic, Delicious Food! Vegetarian and takeout will be available. Tickets will cost $15 for adults; children 10 and under eat free! Tickets can be purchased in advance at Safeway and Harvest Market or at the door.
