Kids Fly at Little River Airport
Carrie Lanyon, Staff

A group of local volunteer pilots are offering the Young Eagles Program at Little River Airport on Saturday May 5 starting at 9:00AM. This program is open to youth ages 8 – 17 and requires a parental or guardian signed consent form. We will have those at the airport or you can email me (redandm@mcn.org) and I can send one to you (somehow!) I’m sure. We have provided this program for many years and flown hundreds of local kids. We fly twice a year here, weather permitting. We also provide several information stations on aspects of aviation, navigation, and places to learn more about flying. This is part of an international program sponsored by the Experimental Aircraft Association. The website for Young Eagles is www.youngeagles.org Please help us spread the word. The Albion- Little River Fire Dept Flea Market and Crafts Faire is the same day, starting at 8:30AM, so you can keep the whole family busy at Little River Airport that day.
